Our Story is Honest.
For years, Mike Miller and his family kicked around the idea of opening a fruit and vegetable farm. Not just another road-side stand, but a place free of chemicals, where clean earth, fresh air, and sunshine would produce all-natural goodness. In the spring of 2006 they jumped in and haven't look back. Their sweat and determination has now become "Mike's Berries, Vegetables & More!"
But there's more to it than just growing and selling produce.
According to Mike's son Doug, "We intend to spend the first few seasons taking the pulse of the community to find out what people are looking for. Our ultimate vision is that we want to go beyond the idea of being a vegetable farm or a strawberry patch. We want to someday become an attraction, a diversion from the hustle and bustle of everyday life."
Farming is a part of who the Millers are. For years Mike's father (another Mike) had a strawberry & vegetable patch in Elyria. Every June the the kids and their kids would help him pick strawberries. Mike, retired, hopes to build a legacy that will remain in the family for generations and sustain the community for years to come.
Our Goal is Simple.
To be a responsible member of the community by providing affordable all-natural produce.
When you bite into one of our strawberries, roast our garlic, or mash our potatoes, you can be sure of two things: it's chemical-free and nothing ever tasted so good!
